ARTIST CHECKLIST
Calling all professional Bermuda based artists! Before you apply to showcase your art, please take note of the following!
Artist Bio
Artists are often required to submit an artist bio and artist statement for exhibitions, performances, and publicity tours. Artist bio: This is a biography of the artist covering career highlights, education, and a summary of their work to the present day. (Optional but preferred)
Artist Statement
An artist statement gives insight into the artist’s process and creative decisions. It can also explain the themes, ideas, and vision of the artist. You can think of it as an initial introduction to yourself and your work to give a great first impression! (Optional but preferred)
Headshots
A color photo to use for promotional materials.
Online Presence
Please add a public Instagram profile to the Artist Application Form for promotional materials. If you have a personal website or online portfolio please add the link to the Artist Application Form accordingly.
Electronic QR Codes
We use a QR Code to link with each showcase. Potential collectors will be able to scan the QR Code and read the relevant information about the work in the Art Drop Bermuda digital catalog.
Selling your Artwork
Artists will be provided with a Bill of Sale for each artwork sold. Art Drop Assistants will be on the showcase floor whenever assistance is needed. The Artist, the Purchaser and an Art Drop Bermuda representative and a witness will be parties to the agreement. A PDF copy of the bill of Sale will be sent to all parties. If wi-fi is not available and you do not have access to mobile data, offline or manual forms will be provided. A scanned copy of the signed agreement will be e-mailed to all parties in a timely manner.
Coming Soon! We will also offer a subscription service to sell your work online for a small subscription fee and 25% commission once the work is sold. Contact us to add your work to our online store.
Fees
A $25 non-refundable application fee is automatically applied when you fill out the application form. One submission per artist. Artists can upload up to three different works for each application cycle. Art Drop Bermuda also applies a 25% non-refundable fee per work, if a work is sold. If the ad-on IP service is required, a $75 non-refundable fee will be applied. Please see the Terms and Conditions for more details.
Direct Deposits
You will be invoiced accordingly. When making a direct Deposit or an online Wire Transfer please put the following information. EXAMPLE: Application Form Payment for (Artist Name or Group Name and Invoice Number).
Artist Participation
We do ask for successful applicants of each cycle to post our Artist Spotlight promotions etc. across their platforms to ensure that we attract a sizeable audience and bring attention and awareness to your work along with potential collectors. We provide all marketing materials to repost.
